Ananta Prasada Singh, now known as Sripada BV Sadhu Maharaja, preserved the tradition of his grandfather's worship of Sri Sri Radha Mohan in Vrindavana, while simultaneously supporting his large family. The charitable tradition combined with the deep spiritual commitment to the worship of Radha Mohanji and the resulting development of higher consciousness turned Ananta Prasada Singh into a person who was living in two separate realities. After taking initiation from Radha Govinda dasa Babaji, together with his wife, he was sent by his Gurudeva to meet with Srila Prabhupada Bhaktivedanta Swami. Originally he was reluctant to go and asked his Gurudeva, "Why should I go to meet him. I've already got you. You are my guide." His Gurudeva told him that Srila Prabhupada was an incartnation of the mercy of Nityananda Prabhu and that he therefore should go and see him.

Our story focuses primarily on Raja Sir Raghunandana Prasada Singh, who became the ruler of this area during the British Raj, as an heir to his predecessor Raja Kamalesvari Prasada Singh, and was actually installed in full power during the British administration period in India. One of the special features of the King of Munger was that he became a Vaishnava, even though his family had previously been devoted to worshiping Lord Siva. He also constructed a temple in honor of Sri Chaitanya, called the Prema Mandir, which is also situated in Mungir. There is another temple the Raja had constructed in Jandaha. It is the Patita Pavana Temple. His devotion to Lord Krishna was so strong that he and his wife spent more time chanting and hearing hari-katha, then they did running the governmental affairs. The Maharaja was also very committed to translating Vaishnava literature from Bengali into the local Hindi language, to share the treasures of the teachings of Lord Chaitanya with all the local people under his care.

Raja Raghunandan with Rolls Royce atending the parliment at Delhi Raja Sir Raghunandana Prasada Singh also organized pilgrimages. He would rent trains from the Indian railway to bring hundreds of citizens to Vrindavana for the Vraja Mandala parikrama. While in Vrindavana he secured land on the Mathura road to establish, acording to the royal tradition of those times, a beautiful temple, dharmsala and gosala for service to Vraja Mandala. The temple which he constructed at this place, is now divided by the Mathura road into Mungir Mandir and Chota-Mungir Mandir, they are situated before the Rama-Krishna hospital and the Jaipur mandir. Their lordships Sri Sri Radha Mohanji and their favorite accompanying gopis, Lalita, Vishakha, Citra and Campakalata were installed on a silver throne, surrounded by beautiful gardens of kadamba and tamal trees.
Royal Memories of the Family Raja Raghunandana Prasada Singh was married by the wish of his father, but he did not have much inclination to family life. All he would do was chant the Holy Names all night. His wife would do the same while sitting on the other side of the room. After many years of marriage there was no child, so his father gave him the order that he must produce an heir. Otherwise the family's royal lineage would be broken. The result was Rajkumar Sacinandana Prasada Singh. At that time as India was undergoing great turmoil in the effort to gain independence, kings were left without income while still burdened with the duty to maintain the temples, schools, hospitals and public services. Great efforts were made to shift these social responsibilities to new governmental deparments. B.V.
